The Youth Ministry operates under the leadership of Minister Anita Wright. We believe that given the proper training and the opportunity, youth can always make a significant contribution in the house of Brookville ministries. The objectives of the Greater Brookville Church Youth Ministry are:
-To spiritually train our youth;
-To equip them to be holy in their daily living;
-To encourage them to do ministry in their church and community;
-To be a resource and support to parents.
The Word of God admonishes us to, “train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. Furthermore, I Timothy 4:12 says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love and in purity (NIV.) Additionally, God instructs us to live holy lives and to do what He says and not simply listen to the words, I Peter 1:15-16 and James 1:22. We realize that these are lofty goals but we also believe they are attainable. We will achieve this by providing ministry and service opportunities both in the church and the community, by making the Word of God relevant in its application during teaching, by modeling it during our times of recreation and fellowship and by providing training and discussion forums for parents. .
